So after reading that Shishio—like Mamura—was modeled after someone, I began looking up pictures of Japanese actors, singers, etc. because I just had to know who. I found
Jun Matsumoto to resemble Shishio VERY MUCH. I am a HUGE supporter of Shizume and when Mika Yamamori (the author of Hirunaka No Ryuusei) didn't make the ending end that way, I felt complete disappointment. I mean, Mamura is not a bad character; it's just that I feel Shishio has a lot more connections to Suzume than Mamura.
For Shishio fans out there, this is for you!

Actually, another thing I noticed was that Miura Haruma also looks pretty similar to Satsuki Shishio. But, who knows? The author never revealed who modeled after Shishio, though she did say who modeled after Mamura.
So, for Mamura fans out there,
Kentaro Sakaguchi was used to model after him. (This is not a guess :D, the author actually stated this herself.)
