FAVORITE ANIME KISSES

Ok, for the last photo (the one above), I seriously disagree the kiss (for those who read the manga) should take THAT long to happen. So, without further ado, this next photo is a PHOTOSHOPPED one of them kissing at the right time of the anime:

NYU Dorm: Third North

I just moved in on August 24th, and the room is great! I have a four person suite (two person per room) with a kitchen and small common area. The suite is on the fourth floor and even then, the view is wonderful. You can literally walk to the movies, supermarket, a bubble tea shop, restaurants and K-mart within 1 minute. New York City is so exciting! For future or current NYU students, or anyone who's curious, this is what the dorm, or specifically, my suite, looks like:

This is the view I see looking out the window.

WHAT IF YOU WERE AN ANIME CHARACTER?

This cool website (http://www.rinmarugames.com/game/?game_id=421) lets you do just that.

I made my own anime look-alike AND my anime boyfriend.

Don't they look cool?! I can just think of the story between them. My own anime series! YES! Who's in?

Hopefully, I made her look somewhat like me.

AND hopefully, this guy looks okay too. :)

My FAVORITE Anime Couples

Tamaki Suoh & Kyoya Ootori

Naruto Uzumaki & Sasuke Uchiha

Recently, I was asked to nominate my two favorite anime couples. And I have to say, it was pretty hard to choose. But I really find it awesome when a totally serious person ends up with a happy-go-lucky one. It's just so adorable that you just can't stop shipping them together. So, there you have it: Tamaki Suoh & Kyoya Ootori AND Naruto Uzumaki & Sasuke Uchiha.

Now tell me, aren't they just perfect together?

Got anime confessions? Or spoiler questions? MESSAGE ME. :)

Until then!

7 Ways To Get Noticed Everywhere

I often get this question: How do I get noticed? And this is especially important when you're job hunting or when you're just trying to look different in a crowd.

What I have to say to you is that, yes, you right! You do have to get noticed. And these are ways you can do to achieve that.

1. Use Confidence to be Confident, by believe in yourself.

2. Be Yourself & Speak Like Yourself, by not using words that you wouldn't normally use or by trying to imitate the speaking style of someone else

3. Don't Bullshit, by staying quiet during a conversation and by being known as someone who’s a good listener and who knows what he/she's talking about rather than become infamous for wasting people’s time

4. Listen, by being the approachable communicator

5. Forget About What Other People May Think, by speaking up and dealing with the conversation that will occur (rather than the ones that happens in your head)

6. Admit to Being Wrong, by not bullshitting your way out of a conversation if you’re wrong

7. Ask Questions, by being authentic and by remaining true to your knowledge and yourself

Enchanted - Owl City

Lyrics:

There I was again tonight forcing laughter, faking smiles
Same old tired, lonely place, walls of insincerity
Shifting eyes and vacancy vanished when I saw your face
All I can say is it was enchanting to meet you

Your eyes whispered, "Have we met?"
Across the room your silhouette starts to make its way to me
The playful conversation starts

Counter all your quick remarks like passing notes in secrecy
All I can say is it was enchanting to meet you
Oh Taylor, I was so enchanted to meet you too

This night is sparkling, don't you let it go
I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you too

The lingering question kept me up, 2 a.m., who do you love?
I wondered till I'm wide awake
Now I'm pacing back and forth, wishing you were at my door

I'd open up and you would say
Hey, it was enchanting to meet you
Oh Taylor, I was so enchanted to meet you too

This night is sparkling, don't you let it go
I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you too

This is me praying that this was the very first page
Not where the story line ends
My thoughts will echo your name until I see you again
These are the words I held back as I was leaving too soon
I was enchanted to meet you too

Please don't be in love with someone else
Please don't have somebody waiting on you
Please don't be in love with someone else
Please don't have somebody waiting on you

This night is sparkling, don't you let it go
I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew
This night is flawless, don't you let it go

I'm wonderstruck, dancing around all alone
Taylor, I'll spend my whole life wondering if you knew
I was enchanted to meet you too

I was never in love with someone else
I never had somebody waiting on me
'Cause you were all of my dreams come true and I just wish you knew
Taylor, I was so in love with you

Fever - Cascada

Lyrics:

I'm not a beauty queen
Travelling in a limousine
I'm a girl but don't call me baby
Who the f**k is VIP?
Never alive in luxury
I don't care so just call me crazy
Can you give it out?

Don't stop just take it to the limit
Watch me boy it's spinning around this time
Hush, hush, running to the night, feel alive

I just can't get enough when I'm with you
'Cause your fever makes me feel so good
Turn it up boy you make your move

See I'm burning but it feels so good
Can't get enough when I'm with you
You got fever but it feels so good
Turn it up baby make your move
Keep me burning 'cause it feels so good

I don't need no superman
Trying to tell me who I am

Know it all's a driving me crazy

Nothing ever is for sure
I can't take this anymore

All I want is yes or no baby
Can you give it out?

Don't stop just take it to the limit
Watch me boy it's spinning around this time

Hush, hush, running to the night, feel alive
I just can't get enough when I'm with you
'Cause your fever makes me feel good
Turn it up boy you make your move
See I'm burning but it feels so good

Can't get enough when I'm with you
You got fever but it feels so good
Turn it up baby make your move
Keep me burning 'cause it feels so good

It's so hot - Do it, do it real good
Can't stop - Do it, do it real good
It's so hot - Do it, do it real good
Can't stop - Do it, do it real good

It's so hot - Do it, do it real good
Baby you got fever
Can't stop - Do it, do it real good
Baby you got fever
It's so hot - Do it, do it real good
Baby you got fever
Can't stop

I just can't get enough when I'm with you
'Cause your fever makes me feel good
Turn it up boy you make your move
See I'm burning but it feels so good

Can't get enough when I'm with you
You got fever but it feels so good
Turn it up baby make your move
Keep me burning 'cause it feels so good

Disney Mulan Cosplay

So recently I cosplayed Mulan. Yes, the Disney princess. It was so much fun and it brought back so many memories.

Isn't she just adorable?!

I got the costume a few years back, but misplaced it in my room, so when I somehow found it this week, yes, yes, yes! I was by gosh golly excited!

Take a look!

Support me! I'm going to "war!"

AND, should I mention?! I also dressed up to this awesome song.

Lyrics:

Let's get down to business to defeat the Huns
Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons?
You're the saddest bunch I ever met
But you can bet before we're through
Mister, I'll make a man out of you

Tranquil as a forest
But on fire within
Once you find your center,
You are sure to win
You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot
And you haven't got a clue
Somehow I'll make a man out of you

[Chin Po] I'm never gonna catch my breath
[Yao] Say goodbye to those who knew me
[Ling] Boy, was I a fool in school for cutting gym
[Mushu] This guy's got 'em scared to death
[Mulan] Hope he doesn't see right through me
[Chin Po] Now I really wish that I knew how to swim

Be a man
You must be swift as a coursing river
Be a man
With all the force of a great typhoon
Be a man
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon

Time is racing toward us
Till the Huns arrive
Heed my every order
And you might survive
You're unsuited for the rage of war
So pack up, go home, you're through
How could I make a man out of you?

Be a man
You must be swift as a coursing river
Be a man
With all the force of a great typhoon
Be a man
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon

NYU 2014 Supplementary Essay Example

I applied to a total of 5 colleges and was accepted by 4; one of those 4 colleges was NYU.

As I said in my video on how to get into NYU, I would start to include parts of my essays for my college application process in my posts to help anyone who is also in this porcess as well.

Below I pasted my ending of the NYU 2014 supplementary essay. As I said, my essay is focused on writing, as that is one thing I'm planning to pursue in the future.

Feel free to take a look!

"My education, understanding, and experience have altered my attitude about my life and the future. NYU calls out to both my natural affinity for writing and my desire for more than just a conventional path in English literature. It opens endless doors and advantages: a flexible, exhaustive English program; copious opportunities for expository and creative writing; idyllic seminars like poetry and perfect worlds. It offers infinite authors to devour, from Jane Austen to Lord Byron to Sir Walter Scott, and it ultimately prepares me for a tangible career in writing.

By being surrounded by diverse students and professors who share the same enthusiasm as me, I can further penetrate my insatiable curiosity for literary research, life-long learning, and multidimensional exploration and discovery. A Chinese proverb reads,“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” I hope to take my first at NYU."

How I Got Into NYU

Check out the new YouTube video I made of how I got into NYU.

I will be positing essay examples and other information that, hopefully, will help you with your application process to NYU, and to any other college (search for them in the search box above!). If you have any questions, feel free to leave them here or on YouTube. Good luck!
